Know Jesus
The purpose of this ministry above all is for you to answer the big question of this life and eternity and to know Jesus for yourself.
The most powerful message in all the world is the GOSPEL. The word “gospel” means good news. The simple truth of the gospel is that the God of Creation (the Heavenly Father) sent His only Son to the world. The reason was to seek and to save the lost, and to be God’s chosen sacrifice for our sin. That Son’s name is Jesus Christ. Jesus means “Savior” and Christ means “anointed one”.
Jesus came and lived among us. While loving mankind, He healed incurable diseases, performed many miracles, delivered the oppressed and raised the dead. He was falsely accused and sentenced to the cruel death of crucifixion, then buried. But the best news in all of history is that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven – and He is alive forevermore! Because He is alive, you can receive Him as your personal Savior. I John 5:13 says “that you may know that you have eternal life”. Many people know about God, but God wants you to know Him.
Pray this prayer now, “Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in need of a Savior. I admit that I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins, including the sin of unbelief. I now choose to believe that you sent Jesus to die on the cross so that I can be forgiven and have eternal life. I receive Jesus into my heart as my Savior and Lord. I acknowledge that Jesus rose from the dead and reigns over death, hell and the grave. Thank you, Father. I am born again and I am now your child and a new creation. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
Congratulations! You are now in a new family called the Family of God. Your life will never be the same for the better. You now will know the Creator of the universe as your Heavenly Father. I encourage you to read your Father’s love letter to you, the Bible. Talk to Him daily and fellowship with other believers. Also, you now have the Holy Spirit to help and guide you in every aspect of your life. You can enjoy the presence of the Lord forever.
